Hey, just a quick note that I stumbled upon a plant pot made of plastic #2 (the black one in the photo). This means it’s recyclable! Even though it’s nearly identical to the red one (a #5), it has one big difference - I can throw it in my blue bin!

Unfortunately, I don’t know where I got it - probably either Abide-a-While or Lowes. I’ve blogged about where you can drop off your used plant pots at local nurseries, but it might be better to just keep an eye out for recyclable (or biodegradable) pots.
