Weekly Trashed

I had a lot to choose from on my drive out this morning, but I went with this beauty. You constantly hear about how you are supposed to separate your recyclables - nothing new there. This resident followed that edict, but then decided to just throw the baby out with the bath water. Sitting next to their stuffed brown bin was this auxiliary trash can, filled to the brim with recyclable material. Yep, there’s some cardboard, paperboard, and even a few plastic bags. I find it odd that they would actually do all the time consuming parts (separation, breaking boxes down, etc.), and then stop short of the actual recycling.
