Ever since a Hummer began showing up in the parking lot where I work, I’ve been dying to get a shot of it next to one of the many Priuses. Well today was the day, and to make it even sweeter, a Chevy Suburban was parked on the other side forming a veritable eco-sandwich.

A photo like this really demonstrates what us greenies are up against…sometimes literally. The Prius gets over 50 mpg, while the Hummer and Suburban average around 17 mpg - that difference is staggering. As always, this makes me question my own desire to roll in a Prius - after all, what difference will it make? When I start to go down this pessimistic road I remember the starfish story, and take comfort in the fact that every choice does make a difference.
