On April 19, Charleston County Recycling will be hosting the 2008 Earth Day Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Park Circle in North Charleston. Last year, more than 5000 people enjoyed over 75 exhibitors and food venders, and this year it will be even bigger.

The festival is focusing on interactivity and sustainability, so they’re asking attendees to participate in a waste-free manner. This means reducing the amount of trash you generate, and don’t bring any flyers to hand out unless they are educational.

If you need any information, please call 720-7111 ext. 28. More info later…
