Awhile back our family made the decision to not bring anymore plastic bags home with us. That means on the occasion that we forget our bags (yup, it happens) we just have the bagger load our stuff up in the cart. Now a person in line behind you can't miss this - it's something of an attention grabber. And would you believe that 3 times the person behind me has said no to a bag - and they don't have one with them. It's made me want to keep getting in line just to try this unproven social experiment. My cloth bag useage has, to date, never prompted the same reaction.

Chear up camper! There's at least one more family using reusable bags. We made the decision two weeks ago to make the switch.

I'm glad that you are noticing. Since I only ever go to the Harris Teeter or Food Lion, I literally NEVER see anyone with a reusable bag. In fact, in the nearly one year that I've been using them, I have not seen a single other person doing the same. It's so easy, and makes a real impact, yet nobody does it. total bummer.
