2 New Local Green Businesses

Voting with your dollar is one of the best ways to let the community know that you believe green choices are important. That’s why supporting local green businesses is a great way to contribute to the movement and reduce your impact on the planet.

We get lots of requests from businesses wanting to be listed on the Go Green Charleston Local Guide. Here are two of the latest to make the cut:

  • Ecolibrio Creations - What’s better than recycling? Reusing! That is the impetus behind this jewelry made from used wires and metal.
  • Palmetto Mattresses - Get some sleep gear that is not only healthy, but totally recyclable.

Hey! Thanks for the great info. I was browsing through a bunch of green websites and blogs and I came across yours and found it very interesting. There are a bunch of others I like too, like the daily green, ecorazzi and earthlab.com. I especially like EarthLab.com’s carbon calculator (http://www.earthlab.com/signupprofile/). I find it really easy to use (it doesn’t make me feel guilty after I take it). Are there any others you would recommend? Can you drop me a link to your favorites (let me know if they are the same as mine).
