We have had none of these issues with the Bumgenius diapers...they have never leaked, and the velcro on them (laundry tabs) work much better than what we have experienced with the Gdiapers... I will say that we have been also experimenting with putting regular prefold cloth diapers in the Gdiaper liner as opposed to buying the expensive refills, and this has worked out no worse than the disposible refills...
