Nice post. CARTA continues to make progress. Riderahip is up 5% this year, but the economic downturn has begun to cut into growth. Work and shopping are the largest drivers of CARTA use and job loss cuts directly into both.

However, our functional, but limited transit system is helping a lot of people get to work without putting all their money into an automobile and helps younger people build wealth by making sure all their pay doesn't end up tied up in a car and gas where it rusts and gets burned up.
