This nonprofit’s mission is to keep usable items out of the landfill by organizing salvage sales here in Charleston. This is not only a great way to reduce garbage, but reduce the demand for new stuff. I mean, a huge part of this problem is our addiction to stuff – so reusing as much as possible can make a real impact.

The Sustainable Warehouse is in need of a permanant home. If you know of a warehouse facility that is available, please send them an email or call 843-532-9351. Also, if you have a project, call them to see if they can find what you need.

This is an inventive project…I can’t wait to see where it goes!
